Late last year, 20th Century Studios boss Steve Asbell turned heads when he revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the studio had not one, but two Predator movies dropping in 2025.

The first was already known: Predator Badlands, a live-action take directed by Prey‘s Dan Trachtenberg starring Elle Fanning. The second was a secret project, one that now has finally been revealed as Predator: Killer of Killers.

20th Century shared the trailer Tuesday, as well as a release date of June 6 on Hulu and Disney+.

According to the logline, it is an “anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge; a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession; and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent — the ultimate killer of killers.”

Trachtenberg directs with Josh Wassung of the animation company The Third Floor. The script is by Micho Robert Rutare from is story he wrote with Trachtenberg.

Trachtenberg has become the driving creative mind in the Predator universe today after helming Prey, the 2022 sleeper hit for Hulu that starred Amber Midthunder as an 18th century Comanche woman who comes face-to-face with a Predator.

“After Prey became a success, Dan [Trachtenberg] came back and said he didn’t want to do Prey 2,” Asbell told THR last year. “And we’re like, ‘What do you want to do?’ And he rattled off a bunch of ideas that were really crazy but really cool. We’ve actually done two of them.”

Meanwhile, Trachtenberg has the live-action Predator: Badlands arriving in theaters Nov. 7, and had its first look at CinemaCon last week, where a surprising premise was revealed. “Something unprecedented happens in this movie, and my character is not the one being chased,” the Fanning said at CinemaCon. “My character actually teams up with the Predator, and you get to see him in a whole new light.”
