After the show’s midseason finale, the trailer for Fox’s “9-1-1: Lone Star”s remaining episodes dropped — the show will return on Monday, Jan. 20.

The 30-second preview teases an asteroid warning that could mean the end of the world as the crew of firefighters must band together.

“9-1-1: Lone Star” is a spinoff of the original “9-1-1” — which now airs on ABC — that premiered in January 2020. This new story takes place in Austin, Texas, as Owen Strand (Rob Lowe), a firefighter from New York City, arrives with his son. The procedural follows the lives of firefighters as they fight to save the people in their community while also grappling with their own lives.

The cast includes Lowe, Gina Torres, Ronen Rubinstein, Sierra McClain, Jim Parrack, Natacha Karam, Brian Michael Smith, Rafael Silva and Julian Works. The show’s finale will be followed by “Rescue: HI-Surf,” bringing an official end to the “9-1-1: Lone Star” story.
