Chloë Grace Moretz Comes Out as a “Gay Woman” in Post Endorsing Kamala Harris

Chloë Grace Moretz has come out as a “gay woman,” while also endorsing Kamala Harris.

The actress took to her Instagram on Friday to announce that she “voted early” and voted for Democratic presidential candidate Harris for the 2024 election. She also shared a photo of an “I Voted Early” sticker on her jeans.

“There is so much on the line this election,” she continued. “I believe the government has no right over my body as a woman, and that the decisions over my body should come ONLY from myself and my doctor. Kamala Harris will protect that for us.”

In her post, Moretz also opened up about her sexuality, adding that she believes “in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protections in this country and to have access to the care we need and deserve.”

The Kick-Ass actress concluded by urging her more than 24 million Instagram followers to vote early and to “get a plan together to get to your polling place with your friends. Go to IWillVote.com to figure out the best plan for you.”

While this is the first time Moretz has publicly revealed her sexual orientation, she has been rumored to be romantically linked to model Kate Harrison since 2018, when they were seen sharing a kiss outside Nobu in Malibu, California. The pair have since made multiple appearances on each other’s Instagram pages. The Carrie actress previously dated Brooklyn Beckham.
