HBO Teases New Seasons of ‘The White Lotus,’ ‘The Last of Us’

HBO Max offered a peek at the forthcoming seasons of The White Lotus, The Last of Us, And Just Like That, and Hacks in a new trailer that aired Sunday night. The clip also teased the new Game of Thrones series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and Stephen King adaptation, It: Welcome to Derry.

The big news is the look at the third season of The White Lotus, which is set in Thailand. The trailer showcases returning cast member Natasha Rothwell along with new additions Walton Goggins, Leslie Bibb, and Parker Posey. Blackpink‘s Lisa, playing an employee of the luxury resort, intones, “Welcome to the White Lotus in Thailand.”

The new episodes are set to premiere in 2025, although a specific release date has not been announced. Other cast members include Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, and Jason Isaacs.

Elsewhere in the teaser, fans get a glimpse of the second season of The Last of Us, with a more extended look at Catherine O’Hara’s unknown character and a shot of Pedro Pascal‘s Joel playing the guitar (a key item in the storyline of the games).

Other returning series include The Rehearsal, Peacemaker, The Gilded Age, The Righteous Gemstones, and The Sex Lives of College Girls.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms marks the third Game of Thrones series and acts a prequel to the main series. The show, based on George R. R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas, stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, both of whom can be seen in the teaser.

It: Welcome to Derry is a horror series and prequel to 2017’s It and 2019’s It Chapter Two, which were based on King’s 1986 novel. Also set for premiere next year, it stars Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar, and Stephen Rider, along with Bill Skarsgård, who is reprising his film role of Pennywise.
