Lindsay Lohan Reveals Her Witty Quip to Disney CEO at 1998 ‘Parent Trap’ Premiere
The actress recalled her cheeky comeback to Michael Eisner after he asked where her “twin” was when she was 12 years old
Lindsay Lohan does not have a twin, something she made clear with a quippy response to former Disney CEO Michael Eisner at the The Parent Trap premiere, telling the executive she should’ve gotten paid more for the role.
Speaking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Lohan recalled Eisner (perhaps jokingly) asking her where her twin was at the 1998 event when she was 12 years old. “I was so young I don’t even know how I thought to say this,” Lohan said. “I said, ‘Well you should’ve paid me double, because I don’t have one.’”
Lohan famously played identical twins Hallie and Annie Parker in the film in what’s widely attributed as her breakout role. She told Cohen that she never had to audition for a part again after The Parent Trap.
Lohan also confirmed she’s recorded more music, with Cohen confirming it’s for the upcoming Freaky Friday sequel Freakier Friday, stating that Jamie Lee Curtis called it “the song of the summer.”
The sequel will officially release in August of 2025, with Lohan and Curtis reprising their roles as daughter and mother Anna and Tess. The plot will have Anna and Tess switching bodies with two 14-year-olds, taking place 20 years after the original film.
Lohan’s enjoyed a career resurgence in recent years, with her next upcoming project — the Christmas romcom Our Little Secret — set to release on Netflix later this month.
