‘The Traitors’ Offers First Look at Season 3: Masks, Fire and the Ever Stylish Alan Cumming
Lest anyone think The Traitors will settle for an understated third season, a teaser for the upcoming run is here to disabuse people of that notion.
The minute-long teaser opens with host Alan Cumming carrying a torch through a forest and quoting Macbeth: “By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.” It then intersperses quick introductions of the reality stars and celebrities in its cast with some eye-popping visuals from the coming season — think fireballs, a phalanx of people in black robes and gold masks, a snake wrapping around someone’s wrist and a taste of Cumming’s amazing wardrobe. The Emmy-winning competition series is set to premiere Jan. 9 on Peacock. The streamer has already picked up two more cycles of the show, taking The Traitors through its fifth season.
